Although we will continue to feel the influence of Saturn in retrograde until June, the trine to the Sun that has been making the Saturn influence particularly uncomfortable, is finally starting to separate today. Any projects or changes that you began on Wednesday’s new moon should have plenty of energy to carry it through.
As a general rule, I find that most projects should be started on or as close to the full moon as possible, but this full moon was especially useful because of the Sun-Mars conjunct that has been forming and lending its energy. There is also a great deal of help with Mars trine Saturn helping to push you forward at a steady pace instead of the sporadic, hard to handle energy that can sometimes be associated with Mars.
One of the good things about this long Saturn retrograde is the opportunity for reflection and self evaluation. There is not any Neptune influence causing you to daydream about what might be; no rose colored glasses to cloud your outlook. This is a good time to honestly listen to any gut feelings about what you need to clean up or finish in your life that will allow you to go forward in June when Saturn goes direct again.
